I am a fine art photographer based in Toronto, Canada. I am curious about the world around me, and my photography is most often inspired by nature and rural life in all its varied forms. The focus of my work is on the close-up and often abstract view, and I like to explore perspectives that may not be apparent on a quick look. I am also inspired by the way in which light creates texture and exposes details in my subject matter. Above all, photography is an important tool for me to nurture my creative self.

I have been making photographs since I was a child and I was first introduced to a camera by my father, who was a talented amateur photographer. Image-making has been an important and essential part of my life ever since.

My photography is exhibited frequently in both group and solo shows in galleries and public spaces throughout Ontario. My work is in private collections in Canada, the U.S., England, France, Israel, Costa Rica and the Cayman Islands, and my photography books are also sold internationally.

I will continue to add images, so please check back to see what's new. You can also follow me on social media to see my latest work. See the social media button further down on the right of your screen.
